Pightle Farm

Three Generations Of Farmers, Working The Land For Nearly 100 Years

The Dudley’s, Jack and his two sons Peter and Denis started farming in Manuden. Peter started his married life to Liz in Barley, Hertfordshire where they grew the contracting side of the business. Peter and Liz then bought Pightle Farm, where Simon their son has taken over the running of the farm and continues to grow the contracting side of the business.

About Our Farm

Farm

The farm is an all arable one, situated between two north Essex villages Elmdon and Chrishall running along the border Cambridgeshire. We grow wheat, barley, oil seed rape and as mentioned run a contracting business . We have two black Labradors and a small apiary of honey bees. You may get a chance to sample some honey.
